Spencerport Firefighter/Paramedic Eric Jensen has received the 2012 ALS provider of the year from the Monroe-Livingston EMS Council. The Spencerport Fire District is very proud of Eric for achieving this award.

Spencerport firefighters responded to a Sagewood Dr. residence for a report of mulch on fire near the house. Once on scene it was discovered a bush was on fire next to the house melting the siding. The homeowner knocked the fire down with a garden hose. The FD checked for extension and found none. Photo by Bill Hallinan.

Spencerport volunteer firefighter Ryan Clair graduated from the New York State Fire Academy in Montour Falls. This was a 12 week course that taught most every aspect of a firefighters job. Ryan finished 2nd in his class. Nice job Ryan.

Spencerport volunteers responded to West Ridge Road @ Hinkleyville Road for a 1 vehicle crash resulting in serious injuries to the lone occupant. The crash was a result of a police pursuit that started in Orleans County. Photos by Bill Hallinan.
