Spencerport firefighters responded to the 5500 block of West Ridge Rd. for a 2 vehicle head on crash with injuries.

The Spencerport Fire District has outgrown the current rescue 2918 and has just ordered a new heavy rescue from Pierce out of Wisconsin. The new truck will almost double the storage capacity and will also feature a larger cab than the current 2918. The build time is about 10-11 months.

Spencerport volunteers responded with Engines 2912 & 2914 to the Gates Fire District for 2 separate working fire at the same time. Both fires resulted in a fatality to an occupant. Photos by Bill Hallinan.

SFD volunteers responded to Washington St. for a car that swerved to miss a deer and then went off the road rolling over and landing back on its wheels resulting in minor injuries to the occupants.

Spencerport firefighters responded to an Ogden Center Rd. residence for a report of a fire. A fire was discovered in the kitchen and quick work by firefighters held it to that room. The remainder of the home sustained smoke damage. Photos by Joe Barretta.

Spencerport volunteer firefighters were called out Christmas Day for a 2 car crash at the intersection of Washington Street and Route 531. The "Jaws of Life" hydraulic tool had to be used to free one of the victims who had non-life threatening injuries. Photos by Chris Wood.
